Backyard Ball
Backyard Ball is a book written about versions of Wiffle Ball. Versions of Wiffle Ball have been played in backyards, alley ways, vacant lots, street corners and even at high stakes tournaments across the country.
The book reviews of many different rules, ways to play, how to perform as a player, hitting pitching and defense.
There is also the story of Little Ebbets Field, a one of a kind Wiffle Ball Field that hundreds of people have played on. Little Ebbets is 1/4 the size of the actual Ebbets Field. It is the only known replica of Ebbets Field. Little Ebbets is open to the public and anyone can play there.
The book was written by Tom Hannon, the builder of Little Ebbets and 30 year baseball, softball and wiffle ball veteran.
This site is all about the game, equipment to use and where to find it, how it works, how to start a league, tourneys, and all things Backyard Ball. Bounce around and you will find everything you looking for. If you don’t, drop me a line! I will be sure to add it.
